Hosting a tournament this weekend. I'm debating whether or not to just do "Senior Night" for the evening game. This is unreal.

How can you expect them to go to school or play sports if colleges wont?

colleges and pros have more travel hence more exposure is the primary reason.

I do know that my kids school have the ACT next week, I expect them to cancel school after that.

Parents and fans weren’t allowed to sit the the stands for a baseball game last night. We had to stand on the fence lines.

I fully expect LHSSA to cancel or push back all sports after the basketball games are over.

stands were full at my game last night... but the handshake was fore arm bumps.... and a few kids hugging....

Yeah I heard stands were full at several games.

This was a school decision between the 2 schools.

I don’t sit in the stands anyway. I always watch from the fence line so this wasn’t a big deal for me.

Except that I had more people around me than normal which is why I don’t sit in the stands. I hate watching baseball around other people.

Last night we talked about if they cancel the season maybe splitting the team and scrimmaging a couple times per week to allow them to keep playing.

I figured you for one of "those" guys..... yeah.. I only sat in stands for the last 4 innings of my son's career(to sit with my wife while it ended)..... your boy isn't a senior is he?

I just don’t like listening to all the parents and grandparents bitching about every fricking call or no call. Or cheering for every little thing that goes wrong or right. There’s always another dad or 2, or my father in law will come watch with me.

I like to watch from a distance and walk around a little.

If they cancel the season I expect our summer ball league/team will start early.

Agree, but why not just wait out for the schools to make the decision for them. If the schools close, they can't play sports. Put the burden on the schools. As many have said, it makes no sense to have sports cancelled but the kids are cramped into petri dishes disguised as classrooms.
