2:30-3:00p is the announcement time frame. Baseball, Softball teams are out and about already for tournaments. I'm hearing they will be able to play tonight's games, weather permitting. Saturday and on will be off.

No games while schools are out. You know this Choup. Now, a principal I know said she thinks the kids can practice. They're obviously having to make this stuff up as they go along, but the lack of a solid plan is disconcerting. I'm all for the games being played.

JBE and co. have had this plan in the works for a day already. LHSAA was consulted. LBCA (LA Baseball Coaches Association) believed games would be cancelled for the next two weeks, now hearing until April 1.

I’m predicting that we have a truncated state playoffs, with 16 team brackets, only district champions getting in, byes and home games distributed randomly, and one game playoff rounds

Because the power ratings will have too much noise over the small sample size they’ll have.

Schools 100%. It's booked. All I know is that LHSAA was already planning on suspension next week. The school closings are going to solidify that. Governor does control public high schools and can issue an executive order forcing no sports.
