I was at the game as an observer, and didn't see anything from Barbe that I didn't see from Rummel. At one point, I witnessed the Rummel AD get called over to request some parents tone it down. Typical banter back and forth between the students was all I saw and heard. The guys from Rummel by the on-deck circle were working the Barbe batters all game.

Eta - #2 from Barbe should have never paraded the trophy in front of the Raiders fans and taunt them at the end of the game.

Great game though....wish Rummel could have gotten some hits in on #11.

I was at the game. All the stuff that goes on during the game is fine, but after the game it kind of pissed me off. I couldn't understand what they were chanting, but it was something about Rummel losing. That's just uncalled for. Celebrate with your team, there's no reason to rub it in.

#2 is a hell of a baseball player, but he's a cocky little piece of shite. I was so happy that he got thrown out at 3rd on that steal attempt.

That's Cecchini, the coach's son that is the best player in the state.

I know. He stroked one to the fence with a wooden bat today. I don't care how high of a draft pick he'll be, it's never cool to go waive the trophy around in front of the kids that just lost.

They were chanting "we can't hear you" towards the students near the Rummel batter's circle.

I sat behind home plate, and the older Barbe and Rummel families were first class near me.

Actually, I saw him (father) drop to his knees, make the sign of the cross and kiss the ground....don't think he had any idea what his son was doing with the trophy.

Didn't personally witness anything from him during the game where I would question his character as it is being pot rayed here.

I just want to know how Barbe has two Puerto Ricans on their team....Rummel chanting " USA USA USA"

I thought that he was using a wooden bat. He is a good player. But cocky as hell. That ball he hit was the only solid hit Barbe had.

The thing that I didn't like is some of the chants they were doing. Im pretty sure one of them was about one of the rummel players girlfriend.

Then after the 2 out single in the 3rd inning they all jumped out the dugout like they had one the game. The short chubby coach with the score book starts pumping his fists towards the rummel dugout and kinda gives a stare down.

They definitely know how to win. Just not with class. And Rummel fans are generally courteous. But sometimes a bad fan base can bring the worse out in the other teams fans.

Barbe will prob repeat too. They have a young team.

Yeah that was a little over the top The kid with the bald head that was waving his towel around was the worse. He jumped out the dugout and starting waving his towel around and slapping his chest.

I thought Barbe's pitcher (#11) was T. Butler. Rummel only got one hit off of him.

You might be right. I thought I heard them call him Brothers. Is he an LSU guy?
