Since Garrett went to the unfounded slanderous “race - card” Rudolph should take the gloves off and request criminal charges be filed for Battery.

I love how people act like this would be an excuse for Garrett, he called me a name so I tried to kill the guy. Seems logical

So now the people who play the "they're the real racists" card are now playing the "the white guy said something racist but what's so wrong with that" card?

It would be great if Rudoplh pressed charges and then went after him for defamation.

Hot take, I know you think your opinion is so valuable that it deserved it's own thread but someone has already mentioned this. In the original thread. On the first page.

There is no case for assault. You could make a case that every play in football constitutes assault, but legal precedent in other cases would make it extremely difficult.

Also, I don't see how they is anyway Mason could prove that he didn't say anything racial. Which is the only way he could get damages from Garrett.

I guarantee NFL Films has the audio. They could probably prove this pretty quickly.

Also, and I'm no legal expert at all, would he still be able to sue Garrett since Garrett himself didn't come out and say this publicly? Garrett said this in his appeal to get his own suspension reduced (or at the very least get the "indefinitely" tag taken off) and Schefter and co. leaked it out. That seems different than if Garrett had come out and said "Hey this dude called me the N-word" and Rudolph lost his job for it.

We just need to cut all the bullshite and just let them have an MMA match with one another.

I'd pay a solid 20 bucks for that shite.

Garrett isn't legally obligated to say anything publicly. His lawyers probably told him not to say anything.

It’s happened in hockey.

Agreed. He will not do it though. There is an unspoken rule. If he does that someone will in his career

Are you talking about the incident where a guy was skating one direction and another guy came up behind him and hit him, ending his career and paralyzing him? Rudolph was not hurt. Good luck making that parallel.
