likely to win a championship, yes, but not in the GOAT discussion unless they form a dynasty

what happens when curry is hurt all series but the rockets win but curry is hobbled? that's gotta be a knock against cc right? because you said that same statement against lebron.

Couldn’t care less, an injury prone player being injured has never been a * in the past

Against an injured Curry? You can clearly use the eye test to tell he isn’t anywhere near 100%. Reports have already stated he won’t recover until the offseason. If HOU wins they’ll have a huge asterisk.

Beating a team of 4 All-Stars where one of the players is not completely healthy is not a "huge" asterisk.

If Houston beats KD, Klay, Draymond, and an unhealthy Curry before beating LeBron in the Finals, that Championship will still go down as one of the greats.

I’ll be the judge of that. I have a good read on curry I’ll give an accurate assessment.

Nah. Me and boom already discussed this. Since Curry is hurt it doesn’t really count or look as good, like in 2016. It’s all about curry though. KD, Klay and Draymond aren’t on par with the 2015-2016 Warriors and cant even sniff a healthy 2017-present Warriors.

As earlier mentioned, I am the judge of that. I can be unbiased when it comes to these things.

Just so I can get a feel for you standard of judgment, what’s your assessment of him right now?

Haven’t seen much. Jazz fest festivities / And also a series v Pelicans isn’t what I call “must see TV”.

Then your casual judgment means nothing. I’ll let you in on a little secret, he looks slower and more hobbled than he did in the 2016 nba finals. HOU will be a laughing stock if they can’t get by a hobbled and injured curry.

Even with no curry GSW would beat every team in the league except for CC.

Well the West is dogshit this year so yea curry-less Warriors would be favored over every team in the West, possibly a push against Rockets. In the east, a curry-less warriors would also be a push against Cavs and Celtics.

I wouldn’t say dog shite. But yea 3-8 In West collectively as weak as I can remember. Even w no curry GSW easily would dispose of both CLE and BOS.

Curry isn't likely to get any better, and he is nowhere near 100%, so I think HOU has a really solid shot to win the series.
If Curry were 100%, I'd give them little chance.

I especially agree with this post. Houston has a great roster top to bottom which may give GSW some trouble.

Rockets do have a shot, the addition of Tucker and development of Capela make them an extremely underrated defense.

Without Curry GS will still be the favorite. Durant is the second best player in the world. Klay is a 2 way stud and Draymond is Draymond. GS is actually WAY better on D without Curry. GS is not as deep as past years but they are a match up nightmare. Klay being so versatile on D really helps too. Mark this down... If Klay defends Harden, Harden will have at least 2 pretty poor games. I hope like hell I'm wrong bc I want the Warriors to lose every game they play in.
