He and Jerry Sloan are the best coaches to never win a championship. They were better than many who did win championships.

I would put Don Nelson and D'Antoni in that company just for how ahead of the game they were.

Run TMC Warriors under Nelson and the Nash led Suns under D'Antoni were so different than the rest of the league at their times.

He got cheated in 2002 with Kings. Feels like he should’ve had one. Also lost in 1992 with Blazers.
