"I think I'd be in the Hall of Fame right now if I ended up in Cleveland. In Cleveland, I would have been focused on football. I'm a person that I get into an environment and I thrive. I just think the focus on football, running the ball in the cold weather, big back. It would have been hell for people to come up to Cleveland and play the Browns with me on the team."

The Saints would have been a lot better if he ended up in a Cleveland too.

He was likely as high in that interview as he was at the Heisman ceremony.

Translation: Less weed in Cleveland?

He's a t-sip role model.

not long after the Saints gave up the farm for him, he and Ditka were on the espn magazine cover.

the bride/groom pic.

nothing weird or ridiculous about that.

but at least we got some draft picks back from the Dolphins when he was jettisoned there.

but yeah sounds like he's smoking some unbelievable bud if that's what he thinks.

Cleveland.

He looked like Rafi from the League at the Heisman ceremony

I read that headline as "Rickey Henderson: I’d be in the Hall of Fame right now if I had been drafted by the Browns"

And I believed that Rickey Henderson would have said that and I read it in the Rickey voice.

There was no way the expansion Browns were taking a RB #1 overall. Especially with Tim Couch available. Donovan McNabb was there as well.

But the best he was in the NFL was when he was in an environment not at all conducive to focus.

He'd have been in the HOF if he cared about playing football as much as he did being a wookie. Playing in Nola and Miami didn't make him quit football, move to Australia to live in a tent, and become a yoga instructor. He's just a weirdo. Playing in Cleveland wouldn't have changed that.

Ricky wasn’t even the first RB taken

Akili Smith, Cade McNown, and Daunte Culpepper too, not to mention Ricky Williams wasn't even the first running back taken that draft. Pretty crazy 5 QBs were taken in the first 12 picks that year

He had the physical talents. He was a beast at Miami for the first couple of yrs. A legit 4.5 speed at almost 250lbs at only 5,10", dude was a tank.

Well that’s one way to call Cleveland boring.
