Peyton WAS NOT reading anyone on stretch plays. He was getting on his horse to get that ball in Edge's stomach as soon as possible so he had as much time to determine where to make his cut. He had his damn back turned away from the defense.
This is a STUPID post.

NO need. Its STUPID. Manning was NEVER doing that. The MASTER at running an offense from the LOS. You are losing here. Leave while you can.

Ignoring the Skins, I'm interested in your thoughts on how the Holgerson version of the Air Raid translates to the NFL.
I think it'd work. There are housekeeping things (move the QB under center, probably move one or both fullbacks to the LOS from the diamond), but I think the concepts would absolutely work. It would be an interesting experiment.

Thanks for making my point for me. We were talking about post-snap not pre-snap reads.
You have no clue what we were talking about and your inability to comprehend even the simplest of reasoning is astounding.

the spread has been stolen from college for a solid 5 years or so now, including the progeny of mike leach
in many ways that's what the pack/saints/patriots run

Redskins need to give Morris the ball and reward him

Holgorsen is an offensive genius. His stick-draw concept is literally about as ground-breaking of a play as we've seen in a decade.
I would love to watch him in the NFL. I can't wait to see him and Gary Patterson bump heads in the future.

SFP,
You still haven't mentioned how Peyton was packing post-snap run/pass options.

Bradford has been incredible today.

This is 100% correct.

If 100% healthy and with equal weapons I think Bradford is as good a prospect as Luck. His accuracy is stunning.

he was making the same reads of the LBs and DL that griffin is making, but without the concern of the backside
how it was explained to me, that drag run by the TE coming against the stretch strong side was typically not a called play action
if peyton saw the LBs overpursuing the RBs, he'd cock back and throw a quick strike to the TE who was wide open in the flat

Not Possible
Please watch any play from this video. It's their traditional stretch plays. Peyton has his back turned to the defense after the snap.
He's 100% not reading anyone and from the point of the snap is it a designated run 100%.

Play action (Reverse) gets blown up. run to the left (out of bounds for his sake)
