in this small sample? yes

but the redskins are running a college offense and putting him at risk. i expect NFL Ds to catch up to this offense and he'll likely get hurt running so much, so long term the edge goes to luck right now

He's just so damn fluid and natural. Makes it look easy.

Debatable. Luck was the top pick for a reason.

His floor is higher than RG3's. Luck was fricking sick today. Impossible to sack, good connection with his receivers, succeeds with a non-existant running game, led a 20-second drive down the field to win the game...

Luck is the truth.

And it's not even close. Apparently we were the only ones who thought this before the season started, but everyone will know it by the end of the season.

He'll be the best player in the league by the end of his 3rd/4th season if he isn't injured.

I don't see how a team 'catches up' to packaged plays. This is one area where college is miles ahead of the league.

I wish less people had access to keyboards.

the limitations of the offense will be exposed, as will the patterns

every time one of these running/option systems shows up people go gay for them due to their early success and most don't even last half a season before NFL DCs figure them out and make teams pay for running them

ask vick, vince, the wildcat, and tebow

watch the type of pass calls that Luck is executing in his 1st 2 games and the ones RGIII is being asked to do, and there is a huge, huge difference.

Sorry but Luck is on another level. Especially mentally

Yeah, Luck is the best player I have ever seen upon their entry in the NFL (I am young though).

Except I would not really count this game because they played Minnesota. Even Gabbert played well against them.

yeah last week the skins were honestly running a college spread option offense. every few years this happens. it works at first, and then it gets destroyed

luck is running a real offense with real reads and this will aid his development a lot more

Please show me the limitations of this offense.

Comparing Vick's accuracy/decision-making, Vince's brain/accuracy, the wildcat's versatility/ability to be a base offense, and Tim FVCKING TEBOW to RGIII and the offense Washington is running should get you perma-banned.

There ya go. NO WAY he can keep up his pace. Sorry. He is fun to watch, but he WILL get hurt playing this way.

And without real skill players (except Reggie Wayne).

Donald Brown is one of the worst RBs in the NFL.

Because he's white right?

RGIII's offense is plenty complicated enough.

Offense Puts More on RG3's Shoulders
