I just reject the superficial assessment that he's smart because he's glib and articulate.

That's not it at all. It's not like people are saying that he is smart with out any hard facts. The young man graduated from Baylor in three years & I believe received his Master's degree already.

No, he actually is smart. Plans (idk if he still does or not) on going to law school. Plus, graduating in 3 years at Baylor =/= graduating in 3 years at a state school

Going to law school is not a smart decision these days

Luck RG3 and Tannehill are all smart guys I think. The difference is that Luck and RG3 appear to be game smart and book smart. Not so sure about Tannehill as far as game smart. If I was a fan of a team possibly getting RG3 I'd be pumped as hell

Baylor is like the 4th or 5th best school in Texas. Not taking anything away from RG3 because he's incredible, but Baylor is not on the level of UT or A&M academically or anything close to some other major conference private schools.

He's really smart. Why can't someone say that without being called a racist? People say that about Luck all the time

Overall program goes to A&M, but liberal arts are slighted towards Baylor. So are the business schools. Engineering is obviously in the favor of A&M. I would say they are still on the same level as A&M, but not UT.

Graduating in 3 years ANYWHERE while playing football and track (at least one year) is super impressive. That holds true for Baylor, Harvard, and McNeese.
