It really is admirable how well they do every year. Must be a great culture. What makes them so good? Their coaches eyes must be amazing. Everyone buys in.

Consistency makes them good. They hire assistants and HC's that believe in their system and their identity as a power run team. They day the bring in someone who wants to change it is the day they start being very average.

A fair number of their players would have been walk ons at Wisconsin, Minny, Iowa, UNL, etc.

The FB that trucked the dude on the TD run, just because he felt like it, is from WI.

They probably get the players that Midwest schools don’t won’t. It’s incredible the run they’ve had. They will probably never move up though because they play in a small indoor stadium.

They take big 10 safety prospects and make them top three picks at QB (Trey lance).

Correct. Trey wanted to be a Gopher, but PJ wanted him as a S or WR.

They're basically a FBS G5 team instead of FCS. They are completely on another level than the entire rest of the division.

Their program has $$$$

They can keep coach's, that might of left for a midmajor backfield coach, etc.

You can pay assistant/ coaches nice salaries, many will stay.

The joke is you don't call up NDSU for a buy game.

The joke was on Iowa a while back.

They're better than a lot of G5's.

I was in Fargo visiting a colleague and went to a game; my god, I had so much fun. I hope they don’t move up; they have a great thing going. That said, they would do fine in the mac.

Admire their line play , as a Grambling/ SwAC fan watching interior line play( offensive line specifically. .
