Yikes!

quote:

On Monday night, news broke that three Texas A&M players have been suspended by head coach Jimbo Fisher for reasons unknown as of now, as TexAgs owner Billy Liucci shared the news via Twitter after breaking the news through the TexAgs message boards.

As of right now, the suspended players are listed as freshman offensive tackle PJ Williams, freshman cornerback Denver Harris, and freshman wide receiver Chris Marshall, as the latter players listed have either started or contributed at a high level for the team in almost every game this season. a fourth player, redshirt freshman running back LJ Johnson did not show up to practice on Monday afternoon, yet his possible suspension is simply based on speculation.

There are now rumors of players not showing up to practice and possibly jumping in the transfer portal at Texas A&M.

The blows keep coming…

We were called bitter and liars for saying Jimbo had lost the locker room and allowed a toxic culture to set in at FSU.

My bold prediction this year was 4 of the 2022 five-star players for A&M would hit the portal by November.

4 still might be a high number when it comes to actual 5 stars but we will see. Chris Marshall and Denver Harris are probably gone at the minimum

A&M is becoming a dumpster fire like Florida State but without a national championship and like multiple times the cost.

A&M will go down as the poster child for the dangers of NIL. Miami to a lesser extent as well.

That many entitled, get rich quick 18 yr olds in a program is like a molten volcano to a program's culture.

Been saying that since last year as well.

How stupid do you have to be to drop millions of dollars on a HS kid that hadn’t even set foot on a college football field. Especially QBs who are more bust than they are boom.

Tennessee done the same idiotic thing.

In all fairness, it wasn't a bad hire at the time AND his buyout would be less than half of what it is now had they not given him that ridiculous extension.

I’d love to read the group texts of the boosters funding this NIL debacle.

Someone has mentioned trying to frame Jimbo for a crime to get cause

This isn’t really the issue. It’s the paying crazy amounts of money to kids that don’t really want to be at your school that gets you in trouble.

There has to be some sort of filter to find recruits that can perform, buy in to your culture, and also want to be a part of the team. Throwing blank checks at every 18 year old 5 star possible is a terrible strategy just as everyone predicted. Anyone with a brain could see that recruiting class and realize there’s no way that much talent actually wants to be in College Station
