L.A. Raiders would’ve packed the house. Especially since they are decent and the history is there. JMO

I don't get why the Chargers wouldn't have a lot of fans in L.A. considering the Chargers were the closest team to L.A... just right down the road in San Diego.

As many have noted, raiders are the most popular nfl team in LA, not even the rams.

Plus, in the time since pro football has left LA in 94, the lakers have won multiple titles, the dodgers have consistently made the playoffs, and usc football had their nice 6 year run, whereas the chargers haven’t done much. To make a long story short, there was no need or reason for LA sports fans to latch on to the
Chargers, the only reason to do so is proximity.

I'm not disputing that the LA move was stupid, but why are people acting like it was such a travesty to leave SD. They had no fan support there either and maybe the worst stadium in the league.

Roger Goodell is making the case for him being the worst commissioner of any sport in history. If the Chargers fail in LA, I think that seals it. Hopefully, Jerry Jones can stop his contract extension and they can get a new commissioner asap.

Care to explain how the Chargers moving is Goodell's fault?

San Diego has terrible fans, a huge transplant population with all the military folks, and is typically the best option for fans to travel to to watch their team.

I heard Jacob Hester make those same points on the radio last week. He said the teams with a big fan base like the Packers would have more fans there than the Chargers did.

No they really shouldnt. This city needs an NFL team and deserves Superbowls

Just renovate SDCCU stadium as a worst case or just make it happen downtown

My favorite is westcoast ag claiming LA has tons of Bolt fans

In retrospect it wasn't a smart move? How could these morons look at the rams attendance last year and say.... Yep, LA DEFINITELY needs another team.

There are other cities you could move them to besides San Diego.

San Antonio for example
