Coaching power creep is real. With as much money going into CFB these days, you have to contend for a BCS bowl at minimum each year or you are getting fired

Still have Stanford and Miami on the schedule. If they can't beat Duke at home, then 7-5 is their best case scenario. And they still have 4 other bowl teams on their schedule (NCST/VT/Army/Navy). And that doesn't even include USC.

Yeah, I think it's a little early to say BK is going stale, unless he's just getting sick of it there. After that BCS championship appearance, he had recruiting rolling and it looked like Golson would lead them to the promised land. Golson melted the second half of that junior year and they seem to have fallen off since. But, I think they can get it back to top 10 or so.
