When D.C. Jefferson came to Rutgers, he was a strong-armed dual-threat quarterback, but he now resides at tight end. Under new offensive coordinator Frank Cignetti and tight ends coach Brian Angelichio, Jefferson could finally breakout. Angelichio says "In our offense, tight end is a focal point and someone you need to be successful for the offense to run." And about Jefferson, "Obviously, he has impressive physical characteristics. He can run and do some things."

Jefferson has all the talent in the world but has not turned it into any production. Under the new regime, he will definitely be one to watch this spring.

Why? We recruited him a while back... he never played for us. That makes as much sense as putting this on the food board. I thought this was a little interesting... sorry it doesn't appeal to you buddy.

LSU recruits lots of people that go somewhere else. Recruiting board isn't the spot for info on the rest of their lives IMO

Well, he was actually committed to us for a while, so perhaps that made it seem appropriate in the mind of the OP.

Nothing wrong with this post. Barely anything to talk about these days anyways.

a lotta folks. I remember Jimbo wanting to convert Xavier Lee to TE for his senior yr because he thought he could be a weapon there and he wasn't gonna win the QB battle. Lee declared for the draft, went undrafted, and ended up as a UFA with the Ravens... who tried to convert him to TE.

I think had we gotten CJ Uzomah he'd have ended up playing TE.

Dc has struggled at te the last few years. Doesn't run good routes and drops a lot of balls. He is huge though.
