Who is Steph? Are you bois with him or something? On a first-name basis with the Swagarella from Callarella? What gives?

don't think he is even the best pure shooter on his team (Klay Thompson).
Lebatard was talking about it on his radio show. He has Stan Van Gundy guest host the entire show once a week and SVG agreed, he couldn't think of a backcourt that could shoot as well as these 2.
Pretty crazy, not something I would have ever thought of before it was brought up, despite knowing how well they can shoot.

They are the slightly tanner version of a young

Drazen says hey.
in terms of career FG-FT-3PT curry beats him in 2 (drazen wasn't that great of a FT shooter some years, strangely)
curry has a higher 3PT% shooting a bunch more 3s
they're pretty close in TS%

Drazen could light it up, no doubt about that
but Curry is the most fluid 3pt shooter off the
dribble I've ever seen...and if you ever played
on a court with NBA lines shooting a 3 off the
dribble is no small feat

I'm just naming guys who could and should be in the debate.

How about Mahmoud Abdul Rauf aka Chris Jackson

Yep. Reilly ignores several great shooters in his hyperbolic statement. Sadly, it's par for the course for him lately.

there is a lot of retarded in this thread

Ray is good from 3, but I think if Curry continues his body of work or even improves on it then he will be better then Ray when both careers are over.

Reilly claims that Curry is the best since Pistol Pete.
That implies that guys like Allen, Bird, Petrovic, Abdul-Rauf, et al were worse than Pistol Pete.
That is where I think Reilly fails.

What about Keith Van Horn?

Curry is a great great shooter. I just want to say that just because he made 3 of 15 from half court in that little contest couldn't mean less of a shite. lol And weird shots like half court ones would definitely be in Pistol Pete's favor if they were to have a contest.

Still....if the game is on the line and needed someone to make a 3 pointer - I'm hoping Reggie Miller has the ball.
