Saw this on Reddit. No, I don't believe games are rigged. This is some funny stuff though.

This ref looks ready to chest bump White

Here's video of the ref congratulating Brady after the game

LINK

quote:

No. 34 made sure to congratulate Tom Brady after the Patriots' 24-20 comeback win over the Jaguars.

The only problem? No. 34 wasn't Patriots running back Rex Burkhead, it was referee Clete Blakeman.

A referee congratulating any player following a game is still extremely inappropriate. This specific instance, however, is an even worse look for the NFL seeing as how the Patriots were called for only one penalty all game — the fewest penalties called on one team in a playoff game since the 2011 AFC Championship ... when the Patriots were only called for one penalty in a win over the Ravens

As a Jags fan, I admit that the refs "seemed" to ignore some pretty blatant holding on the Pats.

That PI call at the end of the half was infuriating as well.

That was right after breaking up a scrum between them and Jacksonville

They didn't call holding on either side during the game except against Jax whenever they gave a sack regardless

Clete Blakeman.

Wasn't he one of the refs in the first Saints/Falcons game?

Guess he was happy because he knew Bob Kraft was about to get him some dollars

This is correct. The Jacksonville defender bodyslammed the RB WELL after he'd scored the TD, and the Pats players were upset about it. Ref was pushing them back from the confrontation saying "I know, I know," when the Pats were telling him about the unsportsmanlike conduct.

No flag against the Jags on that one, either.

I bet that guy doesn’t get on another playoff referee crew

And why do refs wear jersey numbers?

What about the holding call on the final run with Dion Lewis to ice the game?

Are you talking Myles Jack on this play?

Again they didn't call holding on either side for the entire game.

I don't remember which Jag did it. Just saw the RB going head over teakettle after the play was obviously over.

While Jimmy Johnson was the HC at Miami. He told his team before the Covicts vs Catholics game "Don't put this game in the hands of the officials because you will lose that battle every single time"

That's basically the mindset teams need to have when facing the Patriots. Especially during the playoffs.

That's what every team should live by.

The mindset you have to have when playing the Pats is bury them when they're down, and have a second gameplan ready at the half when Bill takes away whatever was working for you to that point. Gotta give them a lot of different looks all game.

I would be excited for the GOAT too. The Jags and the refs should feel privileged to share the field with TB12.

I'm a Jaguars fan. If our offense has a pulse in the 4th, we win the game. We deserved to lose. Tom Brady is the GOAT.
