What a ridiculous spot when Washington was clearly tackled.

Oh, well time to finish this WWE script.
that ref is just bad. The play before he marked the RB a yard short of where he was tackled

Why would you sell out to stop the run on 4th and short against that offense

They should have been the most devastating offensive machine in college football.
I mean they were that year. Doesn’t mean much when your defense is making players like KJ Jefferson look like a heisman contender

Neither team seems capable of stopping the running game right now.

Not sure what the outside defender was doing there.

Kliff must see an advantage on that end. Or he’s just throwing away from Arnold

How the hell did LSU not put up 2019 LSU offensive numbers with Daniels, Nabers, and BTJ? They should have been the most devastating offensive machine in college football.
You could make an argument the 2023 offense was more effective, and they were a #1 offense across the board. The team didn’t win anything because it literally had the worst defense in LSU history and one of the worst defenses in the country. If 2023 LSU has a middle of the road defense they probably have a natty.

QBs running the read option should be fair game.

tbh, I think calling that for JD is a terrible call. He fakes a handoff and was imitating a RB taking off when he got hit. That's not defenseless.

They did. LSU had #1 offense in PPG and YPG.

Jayden set an all time ever FBS record for passer rating, 208.0. And he did that on a top 5 strength of schedule.

Jayden averaged 11.7 YPA, which I believe was another FBS record.

I put $400 on Jayden to go #1 overall because his rating was 45 points higher than Caleb, and he did it against a tougher SOS. Unfortunately, NFL GMs are not as smart as me. And I missed out on $30,000 on those 75:1 odds.
