I haven't wagered anything for a couple of years but I feel the bug now. Hoping I could a couple of recommendations on what is generally considered the most user-friendly app out there to put a few $$ on college football. Thanks in advance...

MGM, FanDuel, Caesar's, DraftKings, etc all are just fine. I started with MGM as soon as it became legal in Colorado a few years ago and stuck with it. One account is enough for me.

5 team parlays each Saturday. Can't wait.

Just opened an account at MGM. Looks way too easy!!
**Now... if I can get a rec on a tip sheet, that would seal the deal. I remember waaaaay back in the day (late 70's - early 80's a tip sheet called "Dr. Sullivan's Winners Sports Service". Remember? It would come in the mail every Thursday. You looked for his "Power Plays"... that's when his line was at least 6 points different than the betting line. He was pretty good at it. Some weeks, he'd go 8/10. Anything similar (and inexpensive) you could recommend??

No need to pay for anything in my opinion.
I use podcasts that break down games and make predictions. I also use all of the prediction sites to see who is feeling what for the week and it compares to others predictions.
My 2 favorite are:
-Sports Gambling Podcast. (CFB & NFL) - They base their picks on stats, eye test, common sense, etc. Pretty entertaining to me. They have people who break down golf, mlb, etc but I only follow the nfl and cfb predictions.
-The College Experience - He makes picks for all games from fcs to top 25.. Pretty entertaining and knowledgeable. He is part of the SGP above, but he breaks down all college games too.
These 2 also have a site where they list all their picks for the week. Just look up sports gambling podcast and their site is easy to find.
Other decent ones:
Bet the Board Podcast is okay. - They use analytics, bet trends, more numbers driven.
Daily Wager - Yes this is ESPN, but I think Doug Kezirian is good and its an easy listen.
Stanford Steve & The Bear - I am sure I will get downvoted for this one, but they provide good info as well. I am also not an espn hater so others may disagree.
Action Network - They have a pay wall you could access, but they also provide free picks and predictions on their podcast and their website, not all games but a good bit of free content.

Pauly Howard and Mitch Moss are pretty good on VSIN. They also keep a running track on their wins and losses. Pauly is at around 54% and Mitch at 53isn

Most user friendly are FanDuel and DraftKings imo

FanDuel is by far the smoothest app.
With a new account try them all 1 at a time for the sign up bonuses.

Sign up for all the legal apps in your state and then shop around for the best odds. No need to be loyal to just one. Caesars tends to have favorable moneyline odds for underdogs compared to other sites for example.

FanDuel by far, but I also use DraftKings

This
I still have DraftKings and Caesar’s accounts, but I only use them when they have really good promos.

Georgia State is going to crush the ATS number this year

I noticed that some of them are quirky as to buying points. For instance, Caesars won't have a lot of alternate spreads on college football. And when they do, it might only be a few alternate spreads, but not always at the number you want. And Fanduel is weird in that you can only buy into half point increments. In other words, if a line is -3.5, you can't buy it down to -3. You have to buy it down to -2.5. Not a big deal, just weird. As goofy as Barstool is, you can just move the line to whatever you want.

FWIW I'm up over 750% since the opening back in Feb. Don't go betting every single game and start getting an attitude that its a "sure thing" because it aint.

FanDuel is the best one that I’ve used. I like the barstool app as well, if you listen to any of their shite they have fun promos where you bet with/against the podcasters

We used to do threads here sharing info but the mods whacked 'em. I made some great money off hockey this year and have been tiptoeing around MLB.

I use ceasars, bookmaker and betnow. about to open another account using fan duel or something similar.
while i am good betting college football ML and ATS it is NOT easy. football is tough. much easier betting NHL and MLB. avoid NFL like the plague. it is the hardest sport to bet basically. so much parity.
you need to do your studying and homework. lots of metrics you need to learn and follow if you are serious, especially in MLB. i have to track lots of stuff with multiple websites.
then you need professional betting systems and money management. I have my own systems but I use pro gambling systems also. Different sports have different ways to win.
I would recommend buying Tony SToffo's 12 ways to beat your bookie. a pros guide.
