Agreed. If I were WV, I'd made a few minor adjustments to add more blue back into the uni and use these full-time.

I forgot about these, WVU's was one of the few that actually looked good when the unveiled all of the pro combat unis.

I kinda like those uni's. Kinda looks like "Master Chief from Halo meets College Football."

As an outisder looking in the uni's aren't really about honoring WW2.....they are more about selling more Jerseys and making more money for the school and more importanly Nike....same way it was with LSU last year.

I won't disagree, but this is just another thing in the commercialization of college football - I doubt this would be something that Woody in this case would overly care about. I'm sure he would think the game he knew and loved was gone once a cable tv station started influencing conference affiliation (BYU going Independent, for example), or signing multi-million dollar contracts for coaches or marketing, etc etc.
