You really think Mahomes is that much better than Lamar Jackson?

Burrow projects to be a mix of Drew Brees and Lamar Jackson talent wise with a Dan Marino body and an Eric decker face.

Oh definitely

I don’t think Jackson has lasting power with the way he is being used.

Nfl defenses will catch on. Or he will end up getting hurt. Likely both.

It would be different if he were a freelance scrambler like Vick was. But too many designed plays, nfl will catch on just like college coaches did when teams were running read options type offense exclusively

Agree.

If the question was who do you want for the next 3-5 years, Lamar is high up on the list. But the question is looking for that franchise QB(Rodgers, brees, Brady). Lamar is certainly throwing better and well which was always the knock on him . But eventually time will catch up in his ability to perform the designed runs, either because coaches will scheme it better or the game will wear him physically.

Lamar Jackson
Pat Mahomes
Carson Wentz
Deshaun Watson
Josh Rosen
Kyler Murray
Jared Goff
Jimmy Garropolo

I think that most of this list won't even be in the league in 5 years. Lamar Jackson Pat Mahomes, Deshaun Watson are the best and if Lamar keeps running like that he won't last long it's been proven over and over.

Agree with your assessment. Currently Jackson is the better athlete but over the course of their careers I believe Mahomes has a better road/system for long term success.

Mahomes
Jackson
Watson
Jimmy GQ
Goff
Wentz
Murray
Rosen

Tua then Burrow.

I would feel bad for Rosen given the shenanigans he’s put up with in less than 2 years in the NFL, but he can kiss my proud American arse.

All Lamar need do is gradually become like Wilson or Rodgers. Scramble to throw and tuck and run when needed to last. He won’t need to run as much to still put the fear of god into Ds who leave him open field.

I think he has a significantly better arm and likely a much longer career. I know Mahomes can sit in there and sling if he needs to. I’m not sure Lamar can just stand there and go toe to toe with strictly his arm if the ravens would fall behind and lose the downhill running game a bit. For that I’d take Mahomes over Lamar any day.

Your list is shite without Dak, he's better than 1/2 of those listed.

So which 4-5 won’t be in the league in 5 years?

I’ll give you Rosen and Murray. Which other two-three won’t be?

Mahomes - sure as shite
Jackson - want to see how teams respond in playoffs and next season, otherwise legit
Wentz - needs talent around him, they currently have none except Ertz
Watson - dynamic but can also tank his offense at times, needs to be hot
Murray - relies on his feet too much
Jimmy G - serviceable. Benefits from teams playing the run
Goff - apparently has some learning disability
Rosen - shouldn’t even be on this list tbh. He won’t be in the league 2 years from now

I've watched enough to know that Jackson is going to be on the cover of Madden next year. Let's see what happens then.

Why is Rosen even listed on here?

He’s going to end up on the patriots and be great in a few years
