Ruggs is legit. I’ve watched him a good bit and he’s a beast at getting separation. Seems like a real good dude too. Would love him on the Saints tbh.

I don’t doubt it.
But Chase dropped a much higher % of passes than Jeudy this year.

He played for Colorado. Defenses literally game-plan to take him away. He’s the main focus in that offense. Put him with a QB like Burrow, Lawrence, Tua, etc.. and this guy would be a MONSTER.
Shenault is BY FAR the most physical of the group. Plays big. Great hands. Stud wildcat runner, too.

Shenault seems like he a huge boom-bust potential. He's so inconsistent.

Yep. He has some wiggle for a guy his size too. I’ve seen him break defenders ankles.

He has to work on his polish and route running most definitely.

I can’t shake the feeling that Jeudy will fall JUST a bit in the draft end up not being the 1st WR taken.
For years now he’s been assumed the 1st WR taken in a stacked class where he is far from the most physically impressive prospect.

It’s possible, but not likely IMO. His biggest competition, at least according to the scouting community, is Lamb. And lamb is kind of the same way - he is great after the catch and at the catch point but he isn’t as fast as you’d like. So I just don’t see him jumping Jeudy, but it depends on how the teams at the top see it. Jeudy just has absolutely incredible route running

I’ve seen the stat you’ve posted here that shows Chase as having a high drop %, and I’m skeptical of its accuracy. Now, since our offense doesn’t automatically punt if we drop a pass on first or second down, I get why it could be easy for me to overlook some drops even having watched every game. But since it’s a somewhat subjective stat that differs depending on the source, I think it could be unreliable.
If the stat is accurate, the high number of contested catches he makes indicates that his hands are not as unreliable as his drop percentage would imply. But if we’re being honest, the reason people in this board assume Jeudy has a higher drop percentage than Chase is because Jeudy had two in the LSU game with everyone watching and Chase hasn’t had a big drop in that kind of spotlight.

He is a great route runner. That means a ton to NFL GMS.

Lamb is a proven elite YAC WR. He’s quick in short spaces and elusive. He’s like a punt returner with great ball skills
Ruggs is more of a traditional speed WR. Obviously he’s really fast and a good route runner / game breaker.

Lamb is a great YAC WR. But he is not gonna be able to do that in the NFL as well as be did in the bib 12.

Where are you seeing these stats? Just curious

Yeah TBH my biggest fear is how mediocre Big 12 WRs have translated lately.
Can’t even think of the last guy who was an all pro or elite WR from the Big 12

Lockett and Washington have been solid. Hollywood had a solid rookie year. Amendola and Sterling Shepard have had productive careers. Wes Welker was all-pro or near all-pro for a couple of years.
Dez Bryant was probably the last elite guy from the big 12 though. Texas being down, Oklahoma churning through a bunch of slot guys and no one else really having a solid foundation save for Oklahoma State is what does it. Big 12 teams recruit Texas hard and Texas football is all system stuff that is basically play calling and execution of the same damn offense.
