It's strange in retrospect to notice how little respect Tommie Frazier received.

Great program. Won big games including championships. Played the most important position. Was unstoppable. Program was never better than when he played.

The Rocket should have won instead of Detmer.

Torretta yes. Ward no way. Dude was awesome in 93. 3500 passing yards almost 400 rushing yards and over 30 tds.

1992 - Gino Torretta, QB, Miami

This was the worst and everyone knows it...hell the Heisman winners know it...you can see when Gino is there for the presentation, the alumni give him a hard time.

People saying Woodson are still hung up on the Manning thing and aren't really judging Woodson as a player in College - and NFL future HOFer.

Torreta is the classic case of the QB of an undefeated team (before the bowl games) and from a popular famed power program.

Yeah he was so good. I really think he played now he'd be a high NFL draft pick. Back then the NFL didnt want 6'1" athletic mobile passers. Things are different these days.

Joe Hamilton was a better fit for a single season award than Ron Dayne.

Didn't he average like 3 yards a carry in the NFL? Very overrated.
