When I just proved you wrong...

As for the Rangers, they made a six-year offer for an undetermined figure with a seventh-year option, only to come up short in their bid to land Lee. Now they'll have to either explore a deal for Garza or take a look at Carl Pavano, Brandon Webb, Jeff Francis and some other free-agent pitchers who are still available. The Rangers apparently don't match up with Kansas City in a potential trade for Greinke.

Wouldn't surprise me if they did as no one out in free agency can match what Josh can bring to game. His biggest hindrance is his age mainly IMO. As he has had a few lapses but nothing major in the sobriety issue. Even Miggy has had a few lapses being sober.

Guys, it's futile to talk to this tard. He doesn't know anything about the Rangers or what is really going on.

He can't even write in complete sentences.

I don't think you have to wait way too long to rebuild. I think that if you give Olt, Profar, Grimm, and Perez a year in AAA they can get ready. Gentry can take over defensively for Josh, yes you lose 40+ HR but that's going to be the case whether you have a replacement or not.

Trade Elvis only if you can do a Teixeira-type deal, which I think is very doable. If he's Jeter's heir apparent with the Yanks see what they may offer.

Nathan has shown he still has closer stuff as well. MY may bring you something but you may have to eat part of his contract; as he only has one year left it may be worth the short-term pain for long-term gain.

Given his performance the last two years, thank God for unsigned deals.

this.

And because of these negotiations Chuck Greenberg was essentially kicked out of the ownership group because he was offering shite the ownership group hadn't approved.

Yanks I doubt have the parts to trade as many of their big prospects floundered or ended up injured this year. That and Cashman hasn't shown he wants to deal prospects all that much.

Elvis to the Dodgers makes sense unless they wanna move Hanley back to SS which I doubt happens. Rangers may not get many MLB ready prospects. I really think Tex deal is more an outlier now.
