Rangers are not going to let him walk and he will be costly. The fact when he is hot he can perform like one of best in game is too enticing to let walk for nothing

They won't give him more than 4 years. So by default someone will..and they will let him walk.

I didn't know you suddenly became a Rangers expert.

I'm following the game at work while listening to The Ticket. Danny is having a minor meltdown on the air ..

Because he is their superstar.... And they have the money
It would take a team offering crazy money for Rangers to let him go IMO. Rangers are going to offer him a very nice contract just like Cards offered Pujols and it would take some team to come in and totally eclipse that. I just don't see the big spenders doing that although Dodgers and Red Sox might.

Meh, not when he's hurt half the year and making mental mistakes the rest.

They don't have unlimited money and they aren't fond of wasting it like the Yankees.

This is true, but crazy money would 20 million a year for Josh Hamilton.

they let Cliff Lee walk so they will be willing to let a crackhead walk

here is a golden nugget from Hambone a couple days ago

"I still had a pretty good year," Hamilton said. "Just think if I hadn't taken off June and July. We'll work on that next year."

yea, thanks for your effort brah. dont let the door hit you in the arse on the way out.

Again, they aren't. They aren't going past four years. The drug/alcohol history, the injury history, his shitty attitude and baffling loafing this year...they aren't going to do it.

I'm telling you. They are ready to move on.

Haha..I beat you to it with that Hamilton quote.

But if he took those two months off, shouldn't he be fresh right now?

Yeah, I can't imagine the Rangers re-signing Hamilton. I think they take his offer sheet, cut the money in half, and then use it to re-sign both Napoli and Cruz. Then take the other half to get a pitcher.

20 million is crazy for you are I not a team willing to let a superstar walk. He did play in what 150 games this year so he hasn't missed much time and slump went what 2 months and look at his numbers still. What if his slump had only been a few weeks we would be talking 50 home runs etc. that kind of talent makes GM's drool.
