It would be a perfect fit and they would deserve each other. Could t pick a better location for him.

From what Ive seen, Sorsby is nothing more than a camp body. Dude might start a preseason game, or maybe the 2nd half of one.

It could be an intriguing landing spot if the front office pulls the trigger. Roster fit is everything, and sometimes a specific coaching system is exactly what a player needs to unlock their full potential at the next level.

I could see the jets or the Browns taking a risk on him. Worst case, he sucks and you do the same thing over again with a better QB class

I see a future in the UFL for this young man.

Just for the record, whatever pick you bid to give up in the Supplemental Draft, you lose the next year. None of these teams should bid their first rounder for 2027, but giving up a 2nd might be worth the risk for some of them.

I think a 5th is the number we’re looking at. And that’s when u consider the gambling stuff as well.

A 4th is pushing it big time.

1st, 2nd, or 3rd is lunacy

Seriously, the nfl has been very harsh on players that weren't betting on their own games. They dont want anything to do with a player that has.

People forget this scenario already happened with Kayshon Boutte. Came back for his senior year, then got popped for betting, entered the draft instead and was drafted without penalty

My guess is there won’t be any initial punishment but he’ll come into the league with a strike on the conduct policy so any misstep and he’s going to get the hammer

I don’t think people understood my point was location as far as fit and was sarcastic.

Imagine the kid coming of rehab for gambling addiction in Vegas.

Not how it played out. Boutte's gambling issue didn't come to light until he was already in the NFL. It was from a police investigation and when he didn't get charged the NFL didn't do anything. Maybe the gambling played into why he changed his mind about coming back to LSU but it was never a public issue when he was in college.
Sorsby is 100% trying to go to the NFL because he has a collegiate suspension over his head like Pryor did.

It never went public but it was absolutely the reason he went back into the draft. The investigation would have led to NCAA punishment or banning.

The NFL teams knew of this during the draft and the NFL decided not to punish him.

Not sure where you find the stark differences in their situations outside of one being public and the other not being.

The idea of would've led to punishment and is banned for the season is completely different.

So I assume the NFL is doing this because they aren't holding a draft for a so/so player with a Gambling addiction that nobody will touch with a 10ft pole.

I sure many teams didn't like the idea of not having time to thoroughly vet him.

Not only did the letter say no go, but it was a carefully crafted and well thought out middle finger. Basically said he should be embarrassed for even asking.
