At this point, does Sorsby go back to trying for Texas Tech? I can’t imagine any other D-1 school would even consider him right now.
Texas Tech shouldn’t either but I was surprised how much they went all in on him the last few weeks.
Just a poor gambling addict who is seeking rehab and therapy, which he is definitely taking very seriously
Otherwise his only option is the CFL. I can’t imagine the NAIA is worth his time.

He was allowed to keep most of his Nail money from TT, dude is fine to sit out a year. Maybe for CFL or the Arena league or something

No, the NFL is doing this because someone was about to draft a first round talent in the supplemental draft who is ineligible to play college football because he has been gambling on his teams. The NFL is simply avoiding a PR disaster.
