"I thought Hudson was all antsy in the pocket," Sarkisian said, saying Card moved around too much. "We weren't great protecting him early on in the game, but I thought he was a little antsy and we missed some opportunities. The game could have easily gone a different direction than it did."

Sarkisian said both quarterbacks would continue to play, but said he thought it was "fair" to Thompson to let him get the start against Rice (0-2) in Austin on Saturday.

Hmm. A coach that tries a different quarterback when the first one has happy feet. Hmm.

Coach O's in a blonde bush somewhere, too busy to take this info and use it.

Not sure Sark and Texas are the examples we want to follow.

Believe it or not but Texas is worse off than we are. Sark will be given the same treatment as Herman and will be replaced within the next 4 years.

The second QB looked a lot better, but Arky also had that game closed out and didn’t really give a shite anymore.

You do realize O played Nuss in his 2nd game…I don’t think this is the gotcha you think it is.

He just picked the wrong starter, now he knows.

Max is the backup QB, it’s not like he is some incumbent, experienced starter with a huge resume, he’s only in the position because our starter is hurt. There’s no reason not to explore the possibility of Nuss giving us better play.

Sark must hitting the bottle again if he thinks it could have "easily" gone a different direction due to QB play. His pathetic defense gave up 333 rushing yards and 460+ total yards to the team with the worst record in the SEC West last year. Sark has been completely mediocre at every place he has been head coach. I think he's a good OC, but as a head coach, he hasn't shown me anything.

And Sark is probably at the bottom of a brown bottle

Well, Georgia changed QB’s after winning game 1 but struggling offensively and Bennett came in and threw 5 TD’s in his first 10 attempts. Not saying to totally replace Johnson but give a series early to Nuss and maybe Johnson sees what’s happening and then goes back in, is more settled and plays better.

Yeah nothing changes that defense. But the first Texas QB was consistently bailing on clean pockets to run straight into the arms of a defender when they were only rushing 3.

1. There’s a difference between Clemson and UAB
2. We started a different QB solely because of injury.

Arkansas kicked a fg 4x, 333 yards rushing and a mercy knee.
