Stars not looking good tonight after a fast, physical game yesterday. Just gave up their second shorty of the night. 2-0 ducks early in the 3rd.

Without question.

44 years since our last Stanley Cup Finals appearance....

Sounds good to me. That LA/Anaheim swing on back to backs can be brutal.

Anaheim looks AWESOME. This is the first time all year I'm watching the Stars get clearly outclassed on the ice.

The Kings dominated the Stars in Dallas a few weeks ago which is why yesterday was so big for the stars. But they are playing with no emotion tonight.

Anaheim has been awesome for a good bit. I think the Stars are going to have some problems in the playoff in the West.

I watched that Kings-Stars game. It was nothing like this. The Ducks are destroying the stars in all phases. Only Niemi channeling Ken Dryden has kept this thing close.

The funny thing is, it hasn't shown up in the numbers. Stars are winning the Corsi battle, but I don't see how. I'm watching the game and I can't remember a good Stars chance in the 1st two periods.

You could tell the Stars were tired and a bit disinterested tonight. Its as slow as Ive seen them all year. If they hadn't been playing a BtoB against a team that didn't play yesterday, I would be more concerned than I am.

Difference between an awful coach playing a system that doesn't go with your personnel and a good coach with a system that flourishes with your personnel.

Couple GREAT trades too in Daley and Hagelin. GMJR deserves a lot of credit, getting Daley and Hagelin for a bag of peanuts.

All pretty much without Malkin too, who has resumed skating.

With the slides of both the Isles and the Rangers, I've gone from rooting for a NY series to a Pennsylvania Turnpike series. Rooting for the Flyers to win out and the Rags and Isles to fall into the wild card slots. That way, we can see more of this:

Jesus, Philly is dirty.

Stars going in dry

I knew my season tickets these last four years would pay off eventually.
