Preds going all in for a Stanley cup run. I really liked Jones in Nashville. He hasn't played well this year but he has a very high ceiling. I hope Johansen is worth it.
Trade seemed to fit both teams' needs but this trade could end up being lopsided either way depending if Jones can continue to develop to his potential and if Johansen can start fresh in Nashville.

Only 3 active players have 500 goals, and Jagr is about a billion years old and will retire at the end of this year. Really, the only other player to spend the bulk of his career in the Dead Puck Era to score 500 goals is Jarome Iginla.
Ovi is the fifth faster player to 500, behind only Gretzky, Lemieux, Brett Hull, and Bossy. And he did it in an era in which scoring has all but dried up. For everyone except him. The Russian Machine Never Breaks.
It has been a joy to watch him play, and you can see the joy he has playing. He has resurrected the Caps franchise and is the best player who has ever played for a team I root for (sorry, Buga). Thanks, Ovi.
