Too much depth. One or two guys can go cold & someone will pick up the slack. Houston is too hot & cold & this isn’t a great matchup for them over 7 games.

Heavy ampersand use, I am triggered.

All time greats have had terrible performances in the playoffs all the time. That’s why they play a 7 game series

In 10 games this postseason he's had shooting percentage nights of 38, 36, 31 and 11. That's almost half the games played.

Bron/KD/Steph combined have 1 sub 30% performance in the playoffs, and that's from Curry just coming back from a grade 2 MCL Sprain.

True shooting percentage is what you should be looking at. Nobody looks at fg% anymore unless they are ignorant about basketball statistics or they are purposely being disingenuous.

Yeah I’m not trying to argue he’s played well this postseason so far. He certainly needs to be better for the Rockets to have a chance. But you’re acting like him having one terrible performances dooms the Rockets chances in a series

Harden has 3 games with a gamescore below 10 in these playoffs.

Curry/KD/Bron have 0. I'll ask again, if you think he deserves to be in the tier with those 3, why does this keep happening to Harden only?

I've made posts before these playoffs chronicling just this issue, and now it's happened 3 more times in 10 games compared to 0 in 31 games for the other 3 players.

Does anyone have an explanation for it? I have no clue why it keeps happening to Harden way more than the other guys.

You're certainly right that 1 stinker doesn't mean it's over, but the margin for error is about as low as it gets against GS.

Well he will need to bring his “ A” game every game of the series for Houston to have a chance... the Warriors have wsy to many weapons and have been here before.... Houston will be lucky to win even two games in this series....

About 1/100th as much as you, big fella.

I avoided any exclamation points, I know that sets you off. I've learned to use the kid gloves around you, hopefully you appreciate that.

Meh, there's a direct correlation between the two.

TS% isn't going to make any of those performances I listed above passable for an MVP candidate.

Just use gamescore, it sums up the entire performance.
