No horse from 1-3 has won since Tabasco Cat in 1994.

Also, no way in hell ride on curlin stays anywhere close to 10-1.

I figured Social Inclusion would be 10-1

Chrome is a record breaker.
He will win from the 3 and be the first TC winner since Affirmed.

He and roc will balance out a bit.

Theres been a few instances over the years where I havent really cared for the horse going for the TC but I like CC. I think he wins fairly easy Saturday.

I am going to laugh if poor ole Ride On Curlin gets pushed wide the whole way while Ria Antonia grabs a piece coming up the rail.
I think CC should be fine from the 3 to sit behind Bayern, Social Inclusion as they cross over. Not sure the GEneral is fast enough not to get shuffled back. I think DI is most affected by the post. HE will have to go and will likley be pressed if he makes it through the whole way.

It would be so good for racing.

You mentioned the front wraps on SI. My dad will not lay a cent on a horse with front wraps.....EVER. Also does it bother you that Rosario won't get any sort of saddle time on Ride on Curlin until he gets a leg up before the race? I think I'm just going to watch and enjoy the race on Saturday. I really don't want to touch Chrome at 3/5 and I don't think there is enough value in the race.

Like I said, I'm ok with an older horse in them, or even a claimer bc half the time the wrapped ones are fine but trying to keep in the barn and the unwrapped are crippled trying to draw a claim.
Ill probably just watch too. Gotta figure out a tri box for Latb. He was already in here asking
He's the one who gave me my horse.
Glad to have you back in these pony threads. Missed you most of the lead up to derby.
I don't think it will make that much difference for Rosario to not ride him. He's training well and will probably be kept much closer.

It killed me. Glad I'm going back to my old job for sure. The only input I would have given was a replay of the SA Derby. When I watched that, I knew who I was taking. I don't like Rosario not having a clue what he feels like underneath. It may not make a huge difference, but I'd feel better if he had a lap or two on him. Like I pointed out right after the Derby, Borel cost that horse hitting the board that day. He may haven't gotten to Chrome but he may have run 2nd or 3rd.
ETA:I DIDN'T MAKE IT TO KEENELAND FOR THE ENTIRE SPRING MEET FOR THE FIRST TIME IN MY 33 YEARS OF BEING ALIVE. frick ANY JOB THAT KEEPS YOU FROM KEENELAND.
ETA2:I'm sure most of you know that Keeneland is going back to dirt in the fall. No more Poly. They are really going to make a strong push to host the BC. I'm sure they will get it. Pumped!!

I just want the Triple Crown winner to be Triple Crown-winner worthy and not do it by default.
I never thought the Baffert horses were Crown Worthy.
Thought Smarty was.
Undecided on Chrome. The Preakness is a gift really.

Real Quiet was worthy. Lost by a nose when Kent went full retard.
