It's still early, but if every roster stays the same as they are now:

1. Cubs
2. Brewers
3. Astros
4. Cardinals
5. Reds
6. Pirates

I think that 2-5 are pretty interchangeable, but the Cubs at #1, and the Pirates at #6 are all but locks, imo.

While possible, it will only happen if everyone but the Cubs finishes under .500.

I don't know what it is about the Reds, but I always expect them to do better than they actually do. They've got the talent.

The Reds could finish second, if everything goes right for them.

Reddman, your input is needed in this thread.

The cubs aren't going to win the division b/c of a set up man? I can think of ways that they won't repeat like Dempster returning to past form, Zambrano not improving, Harden getting hurt, continuing to count on Ryan Theriot as a major league SS, Derek Lee's declining power, but our RH set up man wouldn't make my list of concerns at this point.

Don't forget about a possible media blowup with Bradley

While I would be more confident with Marmol, I still like Gregg. The dude had like 60+ saves in two seasons. That's pretty solid.

i'm not worried about that so much as I'm worried that his inflated numbers last year in Arlington will set lofty unreasonable expectations for him. I also think the loss of Mark Derosa will have some sort of inpact, now that we've replaced him with a switch hitting David Eckstein clone

I have no faith whatsoever in them this year. It's laughable to think 3rd here. I'd put them down as 5th, only because the Pirates are the Pirates.
