Yep. That's why he ran jerry h out and the same reason he hired poops and ed wade. He wants a puppy who is going to do what he said. Meanwhile look what jerry has done in tampa

No one ever wants to be just "ok." Catcher has been a thorn in the Astros side for 5 years. The 8 and 9 holes have been basically automatic outs. The Astros might as well only bat 7 players.

the 7, 8 , 9 were automatic outs when it was Adam Everett followed by Ausmus.

Ok well the 9 hole is the pitcher and there aren't any teams in the NL who have that part of the line up solid day in and day out. If Q can do his job defensively he will be fine. Our 1-7 is better than most teams in baseball. It is going to come down to our pitching and d playing avg and some luck along the way to get us in the playoffs. From there anything can happen. Just ask Cubs fans.

"Our 1-7 is better than most teams in baseball"

Seriously? I guess the 8 hole really killed the lineup then since they finished 9th to worst in the Majors in run scored.

Well he may still think they are one of the best 5 lineups in the Majors, you know how those people are.

I just looked up this Jason Castro to see if i should be worried. The highest level he's played is A- ball. If this is your answer at catcher I may move the pirates up in my rankings

No its not the answer but he is the future at the catcher position and he is getting a shot to play early. He was our 8 pick and outpreformed the kid from fl state who everyone was in love with in winterball. Like I said we will not be great but we will not finish 5th.

Btw what's your answer for the Cubs not choking for the 101st straight year? I like how you are nitpicking every little flaw in the astros team while the team you support is the biggest joke in baseball

I already gave my reasons for the cubs may not win the title this year. Refer to page 1. Like I always point out in the past 101 years Los Astros and the Cubs have the same amount of titles. Thank you.

In case anyone was wondering, the Reds have 5 during that time period.

What teams did/have done in the past have no barring on what they will do this upcoming season.

If anyone embarrassed the division the last two seasons, it was was the Reds and Pirates.
