The weather for the past month has been awesome.

In other news, whoever punched Santa Maria's greens yesterday was on something...

I'm willing to bet, if I could catch it at the right time, I'd be able to score well at Webb.

But, since I've never been able to play a round there in less than 6 hrs, I usually fall apart while waiting on the tee box for the 16 groups in front of me to speed up play.

If you are solid with an 8 iron down to your wedges you can go low. If your wedges and short game are off you'll be a helluva lot higher than you should be.

We played a 4 some (scores were 80, 79, 91, 70) in 3 hours and 25 mins. I was shocked but during the week in the afternoon it must be pretty open.

Back in school, I was playing at about a ten handicap. I never shot better than 87 at Webb. I was a tremendously fast paced player at the time, and the slow play never allowed me to get anything close to a rhythm going. Hit a good shot, wait for ten mins, hit a poor shot.

I lived at Fairway View my senior year. I once hit my drive at that Par 5 that runs along the complex, jumped the fence and went to my apartment to pee, came back, jumped the fence, and the group in front of me was still not on the green.
