That's one thing I respect the green jackets for. They have a perfect opportunity to gouge the "patrons" with inflated concession prices, but they charge the bare minimum. If they make a profit, I'm sure it's minimal.

No doubt. That has to be the most well run sporing event in the world. It's insane how well they process all of those people.

3.00 Beer is a steal for a major sporting event such as the Masters.

That's what Ive heard about Augusta. They have CHEAP concessions. And I believe that he merchandise is reasonably priced as well.

No way would you get a domestic draft beer for $3 at any other big sporting event, especially of this magnitude.

I agree with everyone on the food prices. About half the price you would pay at any other sporting event and I'm sure the quality is much better too. Most I paid for a beer was at LP Field. $10 but it was also a Fat Tire.

I went to a practice round in 1988 when Sandy Lyle won it. I was 13 at the time and remember seeing Lenny Clements make a hole in one on 16 with the pin in the traditional Sunday spot. With all due respect to the OP's excellent photos, pictures don't do the place justice. The place is stunningly pristine in person.
