Rivers takes issue with people having consensual premarital sex.
I'm sure he takes issue with a bunch of snowflake things.

I hope he retires just to stick it to the chargers

I do from Del mar to la all the time its a 2 ish hour drive with decent traffic
Seriously a helicopter service would make it 45 -55 min commute that's doable for 1-2 years

Seems like a job for Jeff Fisher

I would guess that the farther you get from the border the more expensive to find domestic help. An NFL QB's salary only goes so far.
Seriously, props to him and his wife for not wanting to uproot their family, even if only a couple of hours away. They have the means to control that.

Don't think that would work. Would be maybe Ok for the players currently on the team but you aren't signing any FAs if you're telling these guys they've got to practice in SD and play in LA.
It's only 115 miles and only 8 times a year.
The COwboys facility is 40 miles from their stadium

Texans are on the hook for 4 years - $72 million. And at least til 2018. How exactly are they going to pay Phillip Rivers?

That's not Brock's guaranteed money. $37 million guaranteed. I think they can actually cut ties with him now and it would free up $6 million in cap next season.

Really? From Frisco to Arlington is 40 mi??????
I live ~8 minutes away from the STAR and it takes me about 30 min down Bush to get to Cowboys Stadium.
Never really felt that far hahahaha.

San Diego deserves better than this
Have you watched a San Diego game anytime in the past 5+ years? The seats that are actually used are usually filled with as many away fans as home fans.
I understand feeling bad for another fan base but I refuse to feel bad for one that sucked.

Who wants to spend that much money to play for the chargers in 30,000 seat stadium?

Formerly Jack Murphy, was built in 1967. Spanos wants a shiny new stadium.
While it sucks for SD, it is heartening that voters in a CA city would give thumbs down to a big giveaway to a billionaire NFL owner.

Most definitely, especially because of this....

The Los Angeles Chargers have received an ice cold reception upon the announcement last week they were moving from San Diego to the city of Angels.
To make things even more difficult, the organization is having a tough time trying to find help for their big move.
Two dozen moving companies from the San Diego area have vowed not to assist the Chargers in their move to Los Angeles. The group of movers publicly expressed their displeasure and their stone-cold commitment to not lending a helping hand on the website WeWontMoveYouChargers.com.
“We decree, henceforth, that we shall unite as a perfect union of professional movers in agreeance (sic) to not aid the San Diego Chargers' move to Los Angeles.”
They need tGOAT franchise mover Jeff Fisher to break this stalemate

Not really. The voters are morons

The move issue can be solved as mentioned in one of the comments from the Fox News post: have Spanos declare himself a member of the LGBTQ community. Then the movers would HAVE to move him AND bake him a cake as well.

And a half empty Rose Bowl and Coliseum is not a good look....

I wouldn't want to leave SD either.

How can you say he wouldn't move to Houston?
