No shite.

He just did this so he could get as much media attention as possible during an absolute dead newsweek.

Everyone in Philly knew he was retired right after his last game.

There were a lot of rumors that he was going to retire, but he did not make an official announcement until today.

Good for him, seems like a decent dude. I'm sure he'll make plenty of money in retirement.

I think Jeff Saturday might be the only other center who was ever kind of "nationally famous", and that was because of his relationship with Peyton Manning. And he was no where even close to as famous/popular as Jason Kelce is right now. Even before the podcast/movie/etc he was locally loved and somewhat known nationally.

He has deferred bonus payments from the Eagles through 2028 according to over the cap so he’s got income coming from them anyways

I’m a boys fan but I generally like this guy. Why couldn’t Taylor have picked him?

Sitting here watery eyed at work watching the press conference. Mount Rushmore of Philly athletes. Remember watching his 1st game on 9/11 2011 and was a fan ever since.

HoF career and he'll be remembered for one of the best SB speeches ever. He'll probably get a good TV gig.
