Running is back in style this year and I kind of dig it.

Yah and you could say it's a cliche but it does often seem that the first points are the most challenging. Go ahead and break the seal. Success can be contagious for both your offense and their defense

If its 4th qtr and down by more than 11 sure, go for it. But to leave an almost sure 3 on the field to chase not a TD but a 1st down - and even if get the first have work to do to get a TD. Its one if the dumber things coaches do imo. Any score chance first 3 qtrs take it. Then worry about points.
This will bite them later in game is my guess. They now need to pick 6 Kirk which has a good chance if happening. But even if it happens, they left 3 on the field they can’t get back.
