Greg Norman has had a hard on for the PGA ever since they shot down his overture to create a world tour back in the early 90's. Or, maybe it was the Sunday he blew a 6 shot lead in the final round of the '96 Masters to Nick Faldo.

Congratulations to Jay Monahan for selling out to the Country whose citizens carried out the horrific destruction of 9/11. Bone saws come with your payoff package? Enjoy having the Saudi government control the American and Worldwide game of golf.

Rory and others stood up for the PGA Tour and got stabbed in the back. If Monahan's LIV deal was so good for the PGA Tour, why all the secrecy, especially hiding it from the players?

We knew what the LIV players were and now Jay Monahan, they were just dickering over price.

Governmental and political geopolitics are one thing, selling out your moral principles for the almighty dollar to play a game is another.

Especially with a religiously bloodthirsty, rich medieval government responsible for a horrific attack on our country, this is a bridge too far for me.

Enjoy the game, Jay.

I'm out.

they wanted legitimacy. The PGA bent the knee and gave it to them

It’s wild to me that this whole thing could be done without PGA and LIV players knowing.

I know companies don’t always inform players of negotiations, but it seems in this case you would at least give a heads up before the announcement.

What will Rory's lap dog do now that Rory's not top dog anymore? Rory got shite on, therefore Lynch got shite on.

But he specifically called out the dirty money being why he was against it, and now he's backed himself into a corner where he is going to play for that dirty money too.
if he really believed that then it's not his fault and he should punch Jay in the mouth on live tv. If he didn't then he's a pos anyway so frick him

Johnson Wagner heard the player's meeting and said they didn't get real answers as to why. He said that the room was 10% for and 90% against. When some players talked about needing new leadership they got a standing ovation.

Did Monahan really think that business meeting was going to fly without transparency as to why all this happened?

Wouldn’t winning have been LIv being extremely successful, and thus taking over the PGA and having full control?

Rory blubbering about tradition and history of the game was always comical. He's not American. Remind me exactly why he moved here to play on the PGA Tour? The European tour had a long history with stories champions. Why didn't he remain there to uphold the traditions of the European tour? What exactly was it that convinced him to abandon his homeland and move to America???

Anti-Trust lawsuit in progress with discovery hearings on both sides upcoming. Both sides lose massively. Dirt on both sides. Lawyers bring all sides to the table and hash out a deal. Lawsuit goes away, PIF invests massively in PGA and DP Tour. The Players want to be treated as Independent Contractors that work for a Sanctioning Body, as such they have no place at the table, in so much as any other employee affected by a corporate merger.

What are your issues, if any, with PIF approaching NFL players and paying them 50-300 million dollar signing bonuses for NFL players to play 8 games a year, sometimes at high school stadiums?
