Crews and Skenes are gonna get paid, regardless. I know it'd be cool for them to go 1 and 2, for us and them, but they'll be just fine.

This is the same organization that once had Gerrit Cole, Tyler Glasnow, Joe Musgrove, and Jameson Taillon and did nothing with them

I get the logic of taking one of the two HS guys for a discount, but you’re likely passing on a 2024 big leaguer. Doesn’t seem smart.

Word is the Reds @7 are letting it be known they are willing to pay over slot if one of the top 5 falls out.
A's pick 6 are going under slot, not an issue.

Pirates have the most $$ to spend ($16,185,700) & they will spend it.
Question is do they want to spend 10MM+ on one player, when the slot value is $9,721,000?
If they take a Clark 1/1@ 8.5MM, they have 8+MM leftover and will control the rest of the draft.
