one more thing, if i were a PSU fan, i'd be pissed bc other fans will blame the scandal for everything that goes wrong over the next 20 years. Not winning the recruiting battles? Blame Sandusky. Losing out on fund-raising? it's the scandal. Never mind that we don't know how their coach will turn out, or if Michigan and Ohio St. are just better, blame the scandal.

Not really. Pretty obvious, pretty expected. Pretty much everyone loses a commit to someone else and Penn St has lost a whopping one at this point, maybe two but I think one. "starting lose verbal commitments" implies multiple people just bailed and that is not accurate. You would also need about 3 or more to suddenly bail before it really becomes something out of the ordinary in recruiting since we have until February and kids bail on schools all the time.
