Cake schedule
+ the fact a big 10 can easily stomach 2 losses maybe even three depending on other situations….if they have any type of talent on this team with the new coach they should have a shot. Obvious major hurdles being Michigan and Washington but meh…no ducks no buckeyes.

Marshall
At temple
Buffalo
Wisconsin
At northwestern
USC (OMG WHITE OUT)
At Michigan
Purdue
At Washington
Minnesota
Rutgers
At Maryland

Look at that Penn State schedule then check Ohio State’s this year.

Variance-in-difficulty from a schedule standpoint is the largest issues w these gargantuan conferences.

It’s why I now prefer 24 teams in the playoff.

Because that will sort shite out real fast. And separate the pretenders from the contenders.

~40 team super league made up of institutions that can meet minimum financial/brand value standards;

12 team playoff

Remainder of teams play in a tier 2 league with their own 12 team playoff

Top 8/Bottom 8 of the respective leagues are relegated/promoted

Avoiding Indiana (feels weird even saying that) and Ohio State is pretty damn favorable.

If by Sleeper you mean they will suck bad and everyone will be dead asleep when they play games, you could be on to something.

I'd prefer going back to 10-team conferences.

SEC champ to the Sugar, SWC to the Cotton, B1G and PAC to the Rose, ACC to the Peach, Big Eight to the Fiesta, Big East to the Orange.

I know it's a pipe dream.
