Thing is, they have been calling holds every now and then. Which makes them missing those even more headscratching.
I don't think these refs can see anything other than the exact person they are focusing on, and they can't scan their area. This crew however, holy frick, they are ridiculously terrible by replacement ref standards. How about the one staring at the feet, sees one out of bounds, then signals catch?

I know i'm preaching to the choir, but the refs have just been awful this game, both sides.
