feel bad for Bryce, but the Panther fanbase is boiling over and getting tired of him

JaMarcus Russell, step aside! There's a new sheriff for biggest bust ever!

I’m not sure if Young will ever be a great NFL qb but I don’t think anyone can win consistently there right now with the talent they have

Not a bad swing for the dolphins to go after if the panthers are willing to cut their losses already

It was incredibly clear to me when watching him in Week 1 he was not an NFL QB.
Yes, he was playing an elite Saints defense, but you can just tell when a guy doesn't have it, and he didn't. There were plays to be made and he made none of them.

Agree with this. A change of scenery at this point is probably best for all involved.
Bryce has no confidence and Carolina isn’t the spot to build it. He looked like he was going to legitimately cry at one point yesterday.

Probably not but 84 yards on 26 attempts is some strike replacement player level shite.

How interesting. LSU fans for years tried to tell everyone want a dumpster fire the Raiders were (are?). Strange, no one seem to listen at the time. Interesting.

As bad as he's been, it's still kind of wild that they're benching him.
You just traded the farm for him just a year ago and Andy Dalton has absolutely nothing to do with the franchise going forward, you know what you have in Andy Dalton. Young is still very young and could still possibly turn a corner (I don't think he will).
If I'm a Panthers fan, I would 100% want Young out there struggling trying to learn and possibly get better over still losing but looking slightly more competent because Andy Dalton is out there.

I legit think he's broken.
Can he be repaired, so to speak? Maybe. I do think there is something to the size "issue". The only comp we have is Kyler Murray, and Kyler literally may be one of the most gifted athletes to the play the game in the last 20 years. So he's probably an outlier.

Canales says Dalton gives them the best chance to win. Is 4-13 materially better than 1-16? Because an extra 3 wins is about all you can expect from Dalton leading this offense.
This really makes no sense to me. There’s no path back for Young so all you can do now is cut him. If you let him play out the season, maybe you get some trade value and a #1 pick for your troubles.

They just fired a first year coach after a 2 win season. The 3 win difference could be a very big deal for Canales

A #1 pick... in the 6th round.

Probably worded that poorly. I’m saying finish with a terrible record and get the #1 pick as a consequence.

Ok my bad. Well it's not like Dalton is going to take them to middle of the pack but they need some level of competence at QB to try to develop anything on the team.

I don't feel sorry for Carolina. A blind man could see that Bryce was never an NFL caliber QB. I feel bad for Frank Reich, who never wanted Bryce and was fired b/c Carolina drafted Bryce over his objections only for Bryce to perform shitty as expected. I want Frank Reich to be a head coach again.
