Panthers look slightly better than Chicago last night

You watch the Panthers defense get gashed and yet the ONLY story will be Cam Newton's 1st Quarter interception. Cam isn't perfect but if you're looking to figure out what's wrong with the Panthers he's last on the list

Ok, so who do you blame for the Defense? The Coordinator is the same, but Gettleman gutted that side as well. That is why I cannot et him off the hook, he tried to replace stats and doesn't seem to understand that the secondary needs some fire which he sold off.
I was cautiously optimistic at the start of the season, but once I started hearing the stories of HOW he did the whole Steve Smith deal, I lost faith in him.
He basically got rid of the best player in franchise history by telling him he was no good anymore and he heard on radio that he was cut and not by the GM. How can you defend that?

Yes sir, I agree with this. Cam has not looked good, but the GM did not give him anything for success. I question if it a move to not pay him since he is due up for a big one soon. That kind of thing will not attract any marquee talent.
