LOL, i always loved the excuse Pac12 coaches, players, and fans had for getting their arse handed to them when they played a 12pm East Coast game.

Cal was the best at excuse making for getting their asses handed to them on the east coast.

Yeah, I loved being a fan when I was on the West Coast. No staying up to 1:00 in the morning or later waiting for games to end. If I was stuck on the East Coast I'm going to be dragging that morning wishing I was still in bed.

The next day is sunday, who cares if you’re dragging

The best part of living in the pacific or for me Alaskan time zone was you could watch football ( drink) from literally breakfast till about 9pm then go out.

Hell yes, start using "we" and "us" and practice that SEC chant.

Or just cheer for the home state team in Clemson. You've got legit options. Never get tired of winning those titles.

I’m a P12 season ticket holder and am sick as heck of these staggered kickoffs. 9am is not cool for me. I want to go back to noon or 12:30 games, screw TV. Stream the broadcast if the nets don’t pickup the game. The future is the internet, not the dying networks.

Fire Larry Scott, which sadly won’t happen since USC and Washington, the two traditional football powers have shite university presidents.

Are they just talking about 1 game per week to fill the Fox time-slot? Why would it need to be more than that? Every team hosts 1 9 a.m. game per season. More exposure/money for the conference and each member. I can see needing to work out logistics for another year, but this doesn’t seem like that big of a deal imho. Now, if they try to shoe-horn USC or Oregon in there 6 games a year, then yeah, terrible. But as long as as they spread it out to once per school, it doesn’t seem like some kind of huge sacrifice.

If they scheduled all their conference games at different times so you could conceivably watch every PAC-12 game without having to flip channels, maybe that’s a novel idea

- Friday night
- Saturday 9am
- noon
- 3
- 6
- 9 (midnight eastern)

We can make fun of them and say it’s a dumb idea, but it isn’t. They’re falling behind, and they need to think outside the box.

Never understood how people could live on the East Coast and be CFB fans...you miss out on so much.

West Coast you wake up and 9am Ohio State is playing Wisconsin, then noon you get the SEC/Big 12 games, then 3pm you get the Pac games, one more SeC game, 6pm you get more Pac Mountain West, 7pm, last Pac.

The West Coast gives you an entire day of CFB.

Who the hell wants to wake up at 9 on a Saturday?

Less $ as more fans would stop showing up to games. The empty seats and crappy atmosphere will sure make the conference look good

Mike Leach said if the games started at 9am then game prep would have to start at 4:30am.

What about scheduling more Thursday and Friday night games as long as they don't start too late?

The OT pay was nice on weekends. So I took as many hours as I could.
