Washington has much better talent...but CU has had far less talent than 8 teams it beat this year based on recruiting rankings.

This is probably a tough trip for UW fans to make. Especially if they are anticipating a trip to Atlanta

I think the atmosphere will be pathetic there tonight. Seattle and Denver are what, like 1,000 miles away each? It's about a 13 hour drive from Seattle. I liked it better when the team with the better record got to host the game.

Nice.

You should be, it'd close the door halfway on our chances of making the playoff.

UW by 2 TDs.

I think this and maybe more, but even though it is better for SC if UW pounds the crap out of the Buffs, I love the resilience Colorado showed, and how kids that experienced some really tough seasons came back and triumphed. It's what sports are all about to me, and it is a great example of perseverance and how to be a winner.

Then again, if UW does beat the crap out of them SC will probably go to the Rose Bowl instead of the Alamo Bowl.

I'm good either way

UW is still a solid team, but they're not nearly as good as they were early in the season. They just haven't been the same since their stud pass rusher (Mathis) got injured. They have no pass rush now. They also lost their leading tacker during the SC game. They don't have the depth yet of an Alabama or OSU.

All we had to do was take care of Utah and we'd be in the hunt for the national title. I still can't forgive Helton for not starting Darnold from day 1.

Who was the starter at the beginning of the season?

Max Browne. He's been loyal, so I'm sure that played a huge role. But people who attended practices can confirm that Darnold was clearly the superior player.

Yeah...and if Sefo could have played against USC, perhaps that game wouldn't have been 21-17 in favor of USC.

Just saying...lots of what could have been for lots of teams.

They have some good teams and are a pretty deep conference.

So deep that half of them are not bowl eligible.

Buffalos have a real shot here. This will be a 3-4 point game either way.

Completely agree. The Pac doesn't have rabid fans like the SEC or Big 10. They're better off going back to the old way.

Three teams from the same conference and two didn't win their division. I would say that would result in chaos.

Washington wins easily. CU can't overcome Coach McIntyre and poor recruiting. I have a HIGHLY PLACED source. He said Mike McIntyre might be FIRED following the game: LINK

quote:

He (McIntyre) still may get FIRED at CU at the end of this year. he has no ability to recruit...personally or through staff. He cannot close. He's just not a recruiter. Not even a little bit...
no laughing matter...it's absolutely true CU's recruiting for 2017 is laughably bad. I just have the ability to look below the surface to see the truth.
