again...what the hell were lifelong Saints fans supposed get on and talk trash about? I'd again think that most fans of absolutely crappy franchises are going to be pretty lacking in the bravado department. Of course fans of the traditional powers are going to dominate the messageboards online.

1) cubs attendance of people buying tickets and those ACTUALLY in the seats has gone down every year just like any other shitty franchises.
2) Chicago has over 9M people in its metropolitan area over 8 times that of NOLA...it might be a tad easier to come close to filling a 41k seat stadium than a 70k seat one.
3) It's baseball...at Wrigley. It's a party on Waveland avenue, hanging out in the sun during the day, drinking, etc right by the lake.
4) For better or worse the Cubs at least have a very documented history of failures, curses etc. They've been jammed down the throat of the nation for decades. It's almost cool that they have sucked for so long.
5) Again...the Saints fans WERE showing up. Just because they had bags on their heads didn't make them absent from the games.
But nice try.

whoever said the Saints have the better offense and the Niners have the better defense is spot on. Overall, I have to give the nod to the 49ers.

So you started liking the niners 25 years ago. Remind me, what were the niners doing 25 years ago? I just find it laughable that any Louisianian will be an lsu fan but not a saints one. I assure you saints fan were outside of new Orleans before brees. Obviously more fans showed up when we got good, but you seem to know all.about that since you started liking the niners whenever they were winning superbowls.

There are a lot of Saints fans that not only aren't LSU fans but actively root against LSU so don't give me this nonsense.
My Dad went to LSU. He took me to the games on Saturday. On Sunday he played golf. The only NFL team he ever roots for is the one with the most LSU players. So as a child I had to fin for myself. Guess who was on TV every week back then? There are plenty of people who post on the MSB that are Braves fans for the exact same reason.
