Unless he goes Freeman route

Smith did finish 11th in completion percentage, so a bit above middle

Those who can, do...those who can't, troll the internet.

Cam newton was also a rookie. Big Ben obviously didn't have a good td/int ratio but had 4k yards. I'd still say big Ben is better qb than smith by miles.

Yeah he did finished 11th. I just called it average because I noticed a lot of guys finished in that 60-61% range.

Awwww you are angry, the saints fan since 05 comment I made hit a little too close to home eh?

Well we are using arbitrary numbers here... I think the season Smith had was pretty good considered what he was asked to do. He ran the offseason the way Harbaugh wanted and it was highly effective

If he was a saints fan since 05 it still wouldn't be too bad. The saints were terrible that year, so its not like he'd be jumping on all of a sudden cause they were good.

You're a Yankee fan...your input on bandwagons is meaningless.

But 05 is when it became popular to be a Saints fan for obvious reasons....

I'd be willing to bet harbaugh wants to run that offense more wide open like most NFL teams are doing now, but Smith is holding him back. There's a reason the niners wanted peyton.

i don't think anyone disagrees that Smith handled his training wheels well

Eh. Bunch of people didn't like the saints in 05 with the threat of moving and all that, so I don't agree on that.

Fwiw...dave Wilson was the saints qb the day I became a fan.

I'm not one to normally do this, but you can't mock someone's intelligence then make this mistake.

Every team outside of Giants, Packers, Saints, Chargers, Bears, and Lions probably wanted Manning he is a HOF QB on open market
